Event Description and Key Objectives

Skechers is a globally recognized brand, but what about Skechers Kids? Our goal was to introduce the Skechers Kids Collection 2023 in an engaging, interactive way, while also building a positive brand image in the Czech and Slovak markets where brand awareness was lacking. To achieve our objectives, we focused on social media and influencer marketing as our primary tools. What started as a unique event in the Czech Republic quickly evolved into a successful Roadshow throughout 2023, expanding into Slovakia. Thanks to its tremendous success, our client is planning further expansion. We are witnessing a consistent rise in interest with a growing number of influencers eager to join. Moreover, we are cultivating a community that actively frequents our events, drawing in more enthusiasts—either directly through influencers or via social media. Main goals: • Introduce the Skechers Kids 2023 collection as fun and innovative. • Inspire and motivate influencers and families to participate in future events. • Achieve extensive media coverage and increase awareness of the Skechers Kids brand.

1. Low Brand Awareness: Skechers is a well-known global brand, but the Skechers Kids was relatively unknown in the Czech and Slovak markets. Building brand awareness and a positive brand image. 2. Expanding Reach Across Multiple Markets: After the initial success in the Czech Republic, expanding the roadshow to Slovakia and potentially other CEE countries. 3. Low Budget: Operating under a constrained budget while still delivering high-quality events that met client expectations.

Our creative idea consisted of combining the influencer's love for their child with their love for Skechers Kids to create a love brand, Skechers Kids. We designed events where children could associate Skechers shoes with fun, featuring engaging activities and games. Showcasing our innovative slip-in technology, kids experienced the ease of putting on shoes without help, emphasizing convenience. We created a space where authentic love for their children and affection for Skechers Kids could flourish This environment turned mothers into organic brand ambassadors, sharing their positive experiences. Our goal was to offer a welcoming atmosphere where families could enjoy quality time together, reinforcing their connection with the Skechers Kids brand.

Execution

Despite operating under a low budget and tight timelines, the execution of the Skechers Kids Collection 2023 Roadshow exceeded client expectations. Staff and Logistics: We welcomed 30 influencers and over 40 children per event, creating an engaging environment where they could share their experiences on social media. The logistics were streamlined by consolidating all event equipment into a single van that travelled throughout the Roadshow, minimizing waste and optimizing resource use. Each venue was selected for its central location, facilitating easy access. Client Relation: The initial event in the Czech Republic was such a success that it evolved into a broader Roadshow throughout 2023, extending into Slovakia. This expansion was a testament to the strong relationships we built with the client and our partners. We maintained clear and open communication, ensuring that the client's vision was realized at every stage. Content Creation and Engagement: The influencers and their children effortlessly immersed themselves in the event, generating a wide range of content on their Instagram. Organic content creation played a crucial role in increasing brand awareness and engagement. Community: We are witnessing a consistent rise in interest, with a growing number of influencers eager to join future events. Methodically, we are building a community that actively engages with our events, attracting more enthusiasts—either directly through influencers or via social media. This ongoing engagement is helping to cultivate a loyal following and extend the reach of the Skechers Kids brand.

Measurable results

Our Roadshow, consisting of 4 events across two countries, achieved tremendous success. Thanks to our creative idea, we turned 92 influencers with 127 kids into organic ambassadors for the Skechers Kids brand. Instagram Stories published: 480 Instagram Reach per event: • Czech Republic Events: o Event 1: 190,000 reach o Event 2: 380,000 reach • Slovakia Events: o Event 1: 490,000 reach o Event 2: 250,000 reach Total Instagram Reach: Over 1 million. Measured Impact: • Increase in Influencer Participation: There was a 10% increase in influencer participation at follow-up events. • Growth in Published Stories: The overall number of published stories increased by 30%. • Rising Interest: Interest in each subsequent event rose by 20%. Engagement Rate: There was a 30% engagement rate between followers and influencers. Business Impact: • Sales Growth: In the Czech Republic, the revenue grew by 44.57% in the two weeks following the events. • Product Sales: Sales of slip-ins shoes (for both kids and adults) increased by 16.6% in the same period. Client Feedback: The client considered our strategy as cost-effective and smart solution for building awareness around Skechers Kids. This success led to the decision to extend the roadshow to Slovakia, with potential expansion to other countries in the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region.

The communication of this project was meticulously planned and executed designed to boost the Skechers Kids brand in the Czech and Slovak markets. Leveraging social media and influencer marketing as our primary tools, we crafted a narrative that resonated with our target audience.
